Peru and Machu Picchu with a 3 month old

We made it to Peru! One of our best friends, Jason Sanders has been living down in the sacred valley for almost a year saving the world. He made the trip 'Super Feliz' and easy. When we told him we were coming he talked to one of his coworkers and got it set up so we could stay with her and her family. They were really nice and loved Lincoln. Each morning the mom, Erma, would take him from us for at least an hour to just play with him and change his diaper.

The Peruvians, especially in this little village we stayed in (urubamba) were very humble people and everyone loved Lincoln. They all thought he was soo big. They also thought he was a girl half the time so it kept our egos in check.

This was my first time getting some real ceviche and it rocked my world. It was amazing!

Night in Lima B&B $60 + homestay in urubamba $16/night + machu picchu tickets $100 + machu picchu train $100 + 3 hats at the festival $10 + some buses, food, and a haircut = about $700

We love to travel, especially Lauren, she really loves it. She loves it so much that she works at Delta so we can fly for free. When we go on a trip we try and figure out how to get around and what to do while we are there and of course how to keep to a budget so we can do another trip soon. This is our first attempt at a Blog to share what we have found and hopefully help other people in their travels.
